Cold Air In Winter

I am currently running an AEM cold air intake on my 03 Cavalier. I was just wondering what I need to do for winter. If I were to get a Bypass valve and one of those injen filter covers that repels water would I be good to go, if not I have been thinking about picking up an Injen Short Ram intake. Any input would be greatly appreciated, because stupid me didn't address this until it actually snowed for the first time today.

bypass valve doesn't do anythign unless the filter is completely submerged in water... so unles syou plan on encountring a 2 foot deep puddle I wouldn't worry, you could try one of those bag things but I don't think it'll do much other then keep the filter a bit cleaner, either way I wouldn't water

What he said ^. I don't really see how you would need to do anything to it, unless you plan on submerging your car in water. Just check it every now n then to make sure it's not getting build up on it. I used to have an 89 GT w/ a home made cold air intake that came out the front, and with all the snow we get, it still ran (and runs, its my dads now) in the winter with it and we've had no problems. But it's your car, so it's your call.
