Well, you might want to keep it on ... it might come in handy as a snow plow

My momma told me I was cool = )
thanx guys for the comments, see it's so hard to judge because people around here are like "ya we get a lot of snow, like 60inches" well to me 60 inches is nothing because where i am from we used to break our snow record every year with like i think 350+ inches so.... i stored the car for winters up there though. but i am having my front end brought to me this weekend so we will see what i decide. i was thinken bout gettin a winter car for this winter like i usually do but i'm lookin to get a new car all together so i dunno.........*shrugs shoulders*

We get our fair share of snow in Eau Claire, but I don't believe it's as much as Michigan. Most of the winter it's fairly decent, except they don't like to clean the roads well... just seem to get most of the snow off, but they're still slippery, etc. But, I'd say 4-5 times per winter we get a snowfall that you're buckin' snow to get to work or to home.
I lowered my Sunfire on AGX/Pro Kit this summer so will see how that goes for the first time in snow.
So have you started at Midwest Manufacturing yet?
How's it going? What do you do there?
ya that's what i have basicly heard for around here as far as the amount of snow goes. i might be gettin a winter car now so we will see. yes i have started, been workin for almost two months now, i work in truss specials (truss design). where do u work at??

well put it this way you can drive your car in the winter only if you have another car to drive on those days when its really really bad otherwise the roads around here are only bad for about a day or 2 then the plows do thier job. but if you have no other allternative get a winter beater. me i drive the TA all winter if its that bad i take the snowmobile to work but then again i only work 1 mile from home.....
Cool. I work in Menards GO Computer Dept.
I've been in Eau Claire for a lil over a year now.. and this year I am storing my Z away and will be drivin a winter beater. I used to live on the East side of town, and didn't have a garage so I had to park my car on the street (which I HATED..hence why I moved) and I had to move it to dif sides of the street every night, then I'd wake up in the morning to a nicely hard packed border of packed snow PUSHED against my car from the snow plow.. I was pissed...I was shoveling my car out for 30 minutes. That and they only plowed our road, what seemed to be once a week.
I'm up on the north side now,..and still have yet to see how they plow on this side. Speaking of snow.......Anyone know of any good snowmobile trails around here?

At least ya'll aren't down here in Chicagoland!!
Idiots down here completely forget how to drive when the snow starts falling! :Napoleon - Idiots! Gosh!:
I'm hoping to get a winter beater 4x4 (sadly, the one I'm looking at is a Ford, but it's cheap so w/e), so I can pull my Cav off street duty and get more work done to it
Those that came to the Chicago meet last week know what I mean
Kel, I'm lovin' that sig haha. "Chicago girls just go shopping at the mall." Pathetically true
It sucks bein' a redneck stuck in (well, really, really near) one of the biggest cities in the country.
Back to topic, I was non-lowered last year, and while di**in' around in my old jobs parking lot, I flew over a snow bank at 25+ mph (y'know those triangle shaped curbs at grocery stores?? Yea, I went from one side to the other!! Narrowly missing a tree, but no damage since there was like 12" of snow holding my car up) and easily would have messed up an aftermarket kit. I was also going off-roading (yes, in my Cav haha) on the big mounds of snow/ice from the plows... That only broke off the front half of my inner fender liners tho
No more di**in' around this year tho...
Lowered almost 2" Good luck
