Now that I have your attention I want to know what it takes to get ALL the MN J's to show up to every meet...lately I have seen nothing but posts about I cant make it I cant get the day off....welll everyone knows they are on the first Saturday of the month so ask for every first Saturday of the month off right now... I wanna get some good meets going and at some point I would like to get a group pic and I mean the WHOLE group , but lately I have noticed its the same core few that always show up so lets get some of the stragglers and some new people and GIT ER DUN!!
I like seeing enthusiasm and excitement about the meets and lately I have seen hardly anybody postin in the forums and even less interest in the meets ,other than needing something installed, theres more to this than free work so come on guys Get Fired up I mean jeeeezz it is summer after alll..
Ill settle for a bunch of stock cavaliers as long as they are INTO it, the Club I mean...
I just want to see good turn outs this summer and lots of Modding so start posting and get yer asses to the meets ...

yup...that about sums it up...i mean damn..i think our largest meet this year is what 6 cars or something blah...we used to have 5 or 6 normally just parked in the drive way hangin out on any given day...
im not sure what the problem is but i really think it needs to be corrected....but i guess if theres not so much of an interest anymore then thats the way it is i guess....
i for one look forward so much to having meets...and im also considering throwing meets the first and third saturday of the month so at least some of you can make ONE meet...
lets get off your ASS'S and start attending...

I agree with you guys... I'm a female and dont even have a damn car but I go to the meets. Look at the regional forum, Illinois part, they have TONS of new postings everyday and everyone is into it.
I see alot of people posting on here but havent seen any of them in the year that i been goin to meets with Dave. I mean damn me and Dave both work and have 7 kids between us and we still find time to go to the meets!!
i want to make it over to minnisota at least once this summer. so i will keep watching if some big meet up is going on and i will do my best to attend.
Honestly, just a lot of us have lost interest. I for one, used to make it a priority to go to the meets, but now it's kind of a "if I have some time, I'll go, if not, no big deal." Like Dyl said, there used to be about 5-6 j's at his house everyday. That was even before Arlo had his sunalier

Yea, there are a few underlying issues that all of the "older" people have talked about more than a few times.
I think the issue is the amount of drama we have had this year. In years past, there was little to no drama, but I guess as clubs grow, the drama grows with it.

Same here. Since its the first saturday of the month, doesn't look like I'd be able to make it that way till July. June the car will be getting tuned so I can make it that far without killing it

it's hard to get work off..... i can't just say hey i want the frist sat off, or evean just write it down......my work sucks sat are the most busy day of the week so i have to be their..... i want to come.......i want to go to more than just one meet but it's hard.... if it were sundays it would work better.......but im really trying to make it to the next meet... and my j doesnt have insurance either lol......

Well there was a little bit between Mike, Arlo, Joe and whoever else, but that is done now. Also, there has been some arguing between people like Ylime, David E., etc.
Me and Arlo have made amends about what has happened in the past, we still hangout (when he doesn't work!... you damn workaholic) and have a great time together. A girl hasn't held us down
lol Hell, he's my snowboarding buddy. A few steps behind now though :p
On a side note, "older" being age wise or length wise in the club? I'll take that as a shot lol Guess it doesn't really matter. Either way, I've stated the meets are not what they used to be anymore. I've already discussed some of my reasons with jason and arlo.
i been waiting tell summer to make it to a mn meet...since its a lil trip from SE WI
my last job fully suxcked and we didn't have enough people working there for anyone to take off , that and well can't make this meet my license is suspended till next month it really sux being driven around. but I got fired for really retarded reason and have a better job now. this job we only work saturdays if it rained alot that week but othewrwise I should be able to make meets again. plus my car isn't able to be modded cuz I don't have the money to do anything, but I talk to guys later
my main issue has been money, making pizzas at 6.35 an hr sucked ass haha. i to have a much better job now and making it to meets should be alot easier. i personally would love to make it to more meets and plan on it this summer.
i know you guys have been doing some cruising every meet, or most, lately, i think that would make things a little better. the way the chicago meet went was great. if all meets were like that, that would be awesome. and i even showed up late and still had a blast haha
i do agree also, though i havent made many meets myself, the turnouts arent ever that great no matter how the turnout seems it will be on here

i would do to this meet but i have a autox event on sunday early. they are fun. since i have been only to one meet i still feel like an out sider
I wish that i lived closer ... im sure if I lived around the Twin Cities area I would be one of those cars hangin at Dyl/Arlos's but because its such a long drive its hard, im sure I will be making most of the monthly meets tho
well im glad to see theres at least some interest left...
and to the others that said they have lost interest in it..well i guess my question has been answered and i wont really wonder why a lot of you aren't showing up to most of the meets...
anyways...its all good and i dont wanna start an arguement about it...i just hope to see some more activity thats all...
