Ok guys I was considering painting my calipers and drums , I bought a epoxy caliper paint kit from Checkers and was wanting to do it, now I tried it once before with caliper spray paint but it got hot and peeled off so I figured the epoxy stuff would last longer and turn out better...ok so the problem is its only available in red or yellow now what color would look the best , just lookin for opinions....
Thanks, Dave
id say red would look better...since you have a tiny bit of red on the car...the tailights that is
Well I gave him my opinion but as soon as I gave him MY opinion he ran to the org instead!!!
Hmmmmm......
i say just go with some engine paint 500 degrees she holds up to and its cheaper
Go with the red! Yellow and black don't mix well anyways.
everything mixes with black... yellow and black looks like bees

wally world (walmart) has 900* caliper paint in different colors
but i would say red
04 sunfire auto, mid 15's n/a, and still going
Ok so I picked up some 900 degree blue caliper paint so im gonna try it out this weekend..ill post pics of course when Im done....lol
Dave ... like some people have said .. get some high heat 500+ degrees spray paint. I would recomend powder coating them. But since this is your main source of transportation I would spray paint them untill you can have them powder coated. Id say go with red (superman) then yellow (bee). What happend to your purple ... I actually liked purple on your car, I thought it looked sweet.
dan
BLAH!!
Auto zone carries 1500 degree engine paint wait or is it 1000 degree. well either way... lol

Yup, Wallmart, 500+ or 900+ degree caliper paint. Definately red. I sanded the calipers a little and then cleaned them with brake cleaner, then painted them red. Let that dry and then sprayed clear coat over them. Had this done for about a year and they still look like the day I did them. Even through winter. I wouldn't do the drums though!
I need to get some updated pics......... Oh, and I mispelled walmart.
sweet thanks Polo i will do the calipers and we'll see about the drums...lol
I think it would look ok if they werent alll bling, bling after the paint...
BTW...Polo I love your car man its the car that made me want the Razzi kit....you got almost exactly the look im goin for...love it man ....
Later, Dave
RED RED RED RED RED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks Dave. Your car is looking better and better too. I was hesitant to get the kit, but I'm glad that I did. It looks even better in person as any body kit does.
