Trans..... ISHEITZU trans, 3/4 gear cluster from a 2.2, and a COMPLETLY welded diff..... so no more blowing it up
Our best of the day, 14.22@104.27 We were on street tires, the drag radials we were going to use had a hole in it (Damn KillerQuad.... lol) Our 60' times sucked, 2.3's for the most part. We only could get 5psi out of the turbo...... either have a problem with the boost controler (dont think so) or a turbo/wastegate problem..... we'll check it out this week.
We also NEED to get our front suspension worked out (ie. get it aligned) the car was ALL OVER the track..... lol Once you hit 3rd, the car pulls left hard, because of the poor camber. Rick almost hit the damn wall, the only time we ran in the left lane. We also had 2 racing seats in it, so we could monitor everything going on while we ran.
The good news, it ran great. No breaking up. If we could have kept the car straight, I'm sure mid 13's were do-able on 5psi (with better tires too) If I get some time this week, I'll work on the car (and get Eric some damn parts
) Maybe we'll hit the track this next weekend too. Its at least a good start for the season.
