The last few kinda warm days have given yet a new perspective on HWY 100 in Milwaukee. This damn stretch of HWY is dangerous as ever. Since I started working up there with a highway view I have seen so many teenagers drag racing and going WAY TOO DAMN fast for that strip of street. I don't even drive that strip home I avoid it if at all possible. There have been 3 days in the last month that were over 40 degrees and each night the racers were out and each night there was an accident on 100. DAMN PUNKS WONT LEARN!!!
hopefully they wreak their own cars and hurt only themselves...then it's fine by me.

on a side note...shifted, have you been in the new berlin area this past week? i saw you, or maybe a similar cavalier. i dont know...it looked nice though.
i take hwy 100 from layton to I94 on schools nites on the way home. i haven't seen any racing since september. except i did have some stupid kid in an early 90s four door civic try to race me in my 89 buick century. oh yea, you heard it, punk wanted to go up against my 98hp (at the crank) 4 cyl. monster. i would cruise hwy last year. stopped after that big accident in ?Aug?. then i started going to Janesville and cruising there. In Janesville, if you're gonna race you take it out on an back country road. people aren't quite as stupid down there.

I sit there in the evening when the store is empty and just watch the dummies line up at Krispy Kreme and then try their best to peel out doing a U-turn to head south on 100. I really thought that fatal accident in August would have changed things but, NOPE no such luck. You wont see my car up there unless its parked at work.

It's gonna be REALLY bad this year. The fast cars are coming out of the woodwork! I'm mean like 11's fast.
Sadly...somebody else will probably die up there this year...again. I've already seen racing video's on other sites from up there. Gonna be alot of big ego's up there that aren't gonna back down.

well u have to think, when these kids hit "vtec" in their cars it is just plain crazy outta control power.
I am sure i will catch myself taking a lap or two making some noise this year, but not as much as last year.
I should go to luke's house and hang out and watch the nonsense.

True but, I never got to see it on a daily basis to see how dangerous it really can be up there. Before I was like "whatever" lets go cruise but after seeing the stuff in the last week. NO THANKS. I dont know if its any worse than before, I just dont see people learning from the mistakes of others. I talked with some cops in my store yesterday and we got to talking about whats legal and all because I wanted to host cruise nights at my store to just hang out but, they wont let it. He started to talk about the sting ops they have for this year and he said there were several undercover cars that would be running again this year like they did last year. They found some success with the ones they had so a lot of them are using their personal cars and letting the other squads know whats going on.
the last time i was up there a red 350 z almost blasted the car i was in and barleyt made it around my girlfreinds car. people are getting really dumb i must admitt i used to think the highway was awsome and it was cool to run someone for a short stretch but not its out of control. if i was gana race soem one it was to maybe 50 mph not to much of a race but its not that fast either. just my opinion.

Ya...LOL...I used to cruise for chicks back in the day...I had a crappy car in high school...so racing was outta the question. The chick fights were by far the best!

racing down 100 is not wroth it. i have only been down it a few times mainly in the parts truck from work. it is not fun to drive in yet a lone race. wait for them to hit a kid. that would be my biggest fear. next would be cops. i live near lake geneva. the only street race i was in was on a back road. it was fun. but on city streets........... not cool
