So the rust has finally caught up to my Sunfire and I now have decent sized holes in the driver side rocker panel. (I haven't gotten to the passenger side quite yet) I saw these:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=390305344982&viewitem=#vi-content on ebay, but I can't really tell if they are the outter rocker skin, or the inner structer stuff after you take off the rocker.
If those are the outter skins, what would I realistically expect to pay to have my rockers replaced by a shop? The repair doesn't need to be painted (primer yes, paint no) as I want to get the whole car resprayed down the line once I can afford to have that "luxury" done.
I can get pictures of the damage if needed, But I'd rather have the WHOLE rockers, maybe lower front quarters too, since they're technically different panels and have a few pin holes from rust, replaced and not have to worry about rust there again. (Car won't ever see another winter if I can help it)
Thanks for any and all advice/input Chitown J-body'ers!
I want to say you're probably looking at least around $400+. But it all depends on where you take it, their labour rates and materials used.

Thanks for the rough guesstimate. I've had a few guys on another forum say anywhere from $300-700, but those guys are in Canada, and costs for the repairs could differ significantly there.
So its safe to say to just set about $1,000 aside for the repairs. I hope it wouldn't cost nearly that much, but the car has that sentimental value and I want to keep it for as long as possible.
If anyone else has any input, please share. Or if you know of a good reputable shop in the Chitown/NW Indiana area, I would like to know about them.
Cheers!
As for shops more in Chicago, I wouldn't know off hand. But before having any work done, call around to a few places and ask for quotes as well as asking local friends and neighbors.
