Has anyone done a ecotec swap to a pre ecotec car
i started to collect the parts to never ended up doing it, Still have some stuff to do an eco swap if you need it
if you are putting it in your 96, expect to rewire the entire car...
your better option is get the 2.4 out of a Z24. the motor drops in, and makes more power stock than the eco does stock.
Yup doing mine now. Got all the wiring done and everything off the donor car. I mean truly a shell. And my car is a 95.

Ive done it, I also have all the wiring necessary.
I dont want to thread jack at all, but I am looking for an Eco wiring harness, if any of you guys happen to have one that the OP doesnt need for a manual Eco? Shoot me a PM ?
