I was just at the junkyard today looking for parts for a buddies car, and I noticed a grand am with a quad four motor. The intake manifold looked like the 2.3 HO manifold like the ones everyone is using. Is it the same? Because if so im going back to grab it. I know that new grand ams have the 2.2 eco tecs because they are gm cars so i was guessing they are the same.
If anyone knows if is the same as the 2.3 HO that would be greatly appreciated.
Do you know what year it was? I am betting that more than likely it is the LO Intake Manifold, it looks similar to the HO, but the runners are quite a bit smaller.
im not sure id have to go back i didnt pay attention. thanks thats why wanted to make sure before i just took it off.
do you know how i could tell or what years do have them? would a pontiac have them?
if you can fit a finger between the runners its the lo.

i know, but getting the manifold itself is a start
look at the motor its self and look at the vin if the 8th letter over (from left to right) is an (A) Than most likely its an HO manny but like Z Yaaaa said check the runners and look at the manny where is meets at the head and manny and try to check it with the other q4 intake's and see if the port size's are larger or not.
