Well, im lying but it would be sweet. honesty the first thing i would do is drop it on an s10 frame and rwd. next would definitely have to put some kind of power in there. more cylinders and a charger or two lol. im just using my imagination but it would be awesome. lemme hear what you guys might do. and im not tryin to hear that your car doesnt need anything.
take it from someone whos done it...
$20,000 doesnt go very far.
i would feel bad for you just to start.

I agree
"Remember do what you like because you have to drive it."--Me
put the $20,000 on the front seat, drive it to the bank, deposit it
then while its actually increasing in value, enjoy not having to kick yourself for wasting your money.
Been there done that on wasting to much money on a j lol.
id say dont put it in the gas tank, didnt work in milk money.
do you currently own a house?
if not...
theres your answer
I spent close to 15k on my Z24 over the years from three different custom turbo setups to the supercharger setup. Three words for you.

Bingo... I currently own 2 homes.. invest your money wisely, and not on a car...
I've probably put that into my car since I bought it 3 years ago. Mind you somedays I wonder why I'm doing it but a new motor is much cheaper than a vette so I guess I'm stuck with the cavalier for a few years. Houses are a nice thing to invest in but way more expensive and less fun than my car
With a power bill of 400 a month I begin to wonder why I did it.
I've thought this over and I know a kid that builds stock cars. I think I can build a nice 2nd gen cavy rwd on an s-10 frame for between $3000-$5000. My dad and brother both have alot of v-8 experience and I could do alot of the body work myself. They commonly put the Grand Prix bodies on metric frames so that wouldn't cost that much. My idea is maybe to keep the 4.3 and turbo it, or just swap to a 350. I really want a lt-1 trans Am, but I like the looks of the z-24
ok. nice to see some people have an imagination. and others telling me basically its pointless.. so im definitely not gonna put any money into my car other than maintenance and save up for a vette .haha yea right
You obviously don't see the big picture.... Good luck in the welfare line
hey douche was your g6 worth the $15,000++???
Lolll, says the guy that wants to put the cavalier on an S-10 Frame^

As stated, He owns a couple houses. Who cares what he spent on the G6.

Expect flaming if you bring up topics of the like. Don't get butthurt!
wtf?? im tryin to decipher what you just told me not to do but im sure it wont happen
$20k + sell my cavy for a few $k = What it cost me to buy my '05 C55 AMG. And this Mercedes is better than anything I ever did to my cavy. And I spent well over $10k on my cavy, from supercharger to two tone Katzkin leather.
Regardless, I had fun spending that $10k, and it was well worth it. But not $20k.

Thanks
I'm pretty sure my car is worth much less then 15k lol but my houses combined are worth roughly 450k...
it feels pretty good to be this douche
You can laugh all you want it's been done before. RWD Cavalier. There was a drag car for sale on ebay like a year ago a guy wanted $5000 just for the roller if i remember correct. The s-10 is pretty close in dimension to a cavalier. And a grand prix fwd body can be put on a 80's metric frame very easily
