Does anyone have any spare pre-'03 outer tail light bulb sockets? I'm trying to get rid of my stock ones, and trying the best I can to not pay $47 through a dealer for them. And I have tried Napa and Lee Auto Parts, but it seems all they get for '95 - '05 is the same as I already have, believe or not.

Now I just need the socket for the 3057/3157 bulb since the pre-2003 J-body's don't have the side marker bulb.

they are the same... they just dont have the 194 bulb in them. you should be able to just buy the socket itself and wire it in.

That is the issue, most other place like Napa, Lee's Auto Parts, O'Rielly's, all carry the same one as I have now for '95-'05 J-body's. AutoZone don't carry them at all. The dealer would be able to get the right ones, but at $47 a pop, as far as I had been told.

Upon some recent research, I have found out that only the 2000 to 2002 Cavaliers do not have the 194 socket on the tail lights. '95 to '99 and '03 to '05 Cavs have the 194 bulbs as depicted above.
