Hey guys, I'm gonna kinda use this for a feeler to see if anyone would be interested in the saab turbo pieces i have. I would like to get rid of all of them at once or at least get rid of the saab pieces together. I have the saab manifold, the saab mistu HO turbo, and the Brandonson 2.5 downpipe for sale. I would look to get around 425 or 450 for and that includes a FMIC. If there is interest great, get a hold of me, if not thats fine, im in no rush to move these parts and would like to get out of them what i bought them for (price listed above). I feel its a great price and all you would need to purchash out side of these parts are oil lines, a fmu, injectors, and charge pipes and you'd be set.
Let me know,
thanks guys.
Hmmmmm
450 you say? Oil lines FMU Injectors and pipes...
PM me
BTW I have injectors and an FMU
this could be an early return of the boosted one
Tell ya what, tomorrow and Monday I am looking at houses, keep in touch, you may have a buyer as soon as Monday afternoon....
No promises, but I AM first in line muahaha////

Ill get pics for you asap. I planned to use an fmu/hptuners tune to run this. Ill try and find my camera right now and take pics for you.
Awesome, thats exactly what I'd be using

Phil, perpare for lots of pictures. As far as the turbo's condition, looks wise its in great condition. There is little to no shaft play the only thing that could possibly be wrong is the oil feed fitting will probably need to be replaced. These parts never made it to my car so I cant tell you how it performs but they were on Ben's car (silverjon1nines). The manifold is in great shape and the down pipe has a flex pipe already welded to it and is already tapped for a wideband. Im going to send you the downpipe extension piece also so you can cut/fit/weld it to whatever exhaust you may have. On my set up, because the cat sits so far forward, the extension was going to be used as a test pipe. The down pipe itself has some surface rust but is nothing serious at all and i'm thinkikng that its SS but im not sure on it. There is one bolt on the turbo that is broke off (where it meets the downpipe) so that will need to be drilled out and replaced. Other then that, as with all Saab turbos the bov is attached to the compressor housing and the turbo is internally gated at 6psi i think. The FMIC is in pretty bad shape on one side but I was throwing it in for free so if you dont want it let me know and ill leave it out of the package. Im also sending the oil drain that is used on the Saab 9-3 but I wasn't going to use it because the turbo already has a -10AN fitting on the drain side. Also are the the water lines for the turbo, i think thats all of them but am not sure and I really had no intention on using them but will send them. On to the pics....
OEM oil drain and water lines
Downpipe extension piece
Downpipe with welded flex pipe
Manifold side view
Manifold mating surface
Manifold where it meets the turbo
Good side of intercooler
Bad side of intercooler
TURBO PICS
As far as the dimensions on the intercooler im unaware of, i can find out for you if you like but i know the IN/OUT is 2.25
Thanks for the interest man, hope house shopping goes well.
thanks... everything looks great!
Now would I need to upgrade the blow off valve at all?
I would most liekly run open DP for a while and that FMIC doesnt look as bad as you said, I've seen worse. Getting out a bolt is no big deal either. Everything looks good for a DD boosted cavy while I build a motor and 450 is a god damned steal... Like I said I will let you know monday and after I discuss things with the wifey. The only thing I really cant afford right now is the wideband and charge pipes but the pipes would not be hard at all.... My father in law welds aluminum professionally

Sweet deal man, let me know. The BOV doesnt need to be upgraded at all it would be more of a sound preference thing.
that would be me
but that could be done the road. Now would I just leave that BOV bolted on and get one for the charge pipes?
It's funny cause I still have the drill and tap for the oil pan 10 an
LE61T PTE6262 Powered
Yeah you could either leave that one on and not hook up vacuum to it or you could buy ablock of plate for it...not necessary though.
would you be able to get me a shipping idea?
LE61T PTE6262 Powered
Using williamsport as a destination because im not sure what your home town/ zip is it said it was going to be about 90 to ship. That was with it all packaged up and my scale said it weighted 50lbs. hopefully thats right but ill say 90 and if its any more then that then ill eat the costs.
yeah williamsport is 2 hrs north... that works.. so wanna say $530 shipped?
LE61T PTE6262 Powered
also could you explain the HO part of the turbo?
LE61T PTE6262 Powered
530 is fine shipped if you paypal please include the 3%. Its the HO turbo that came on the Saab. There were two different turbos that came on the 9-3, a mistu (the one i have for sale) and a garrett, both wastegates are set at the same psi but the mistu is bigger so there is more hp produced.
I'm interested... I'll have to see if I can get the $$$ together. When income taxes come in (next couple days) we'll see... I could probably have it Friday and pick it up next weekend.
Zach: As of right no Phil has dibbs on it. If he decides he doesnt want it then I will post back here and PM you about it to let you know that its up for sale again. As of right now though your number 2 on the list.

so thats not really a BOV but a diverter valve?
LE61T PTE6262 Powered
I'm not 100% I've always heard it referred to as a bov and im not sure what the difference is but I know it acts the same as a bov.
well a diverter valve diverts the air back into the charge pipe and a bov usually vents to atmosphere, thus the sound. that obviously doesn't vent to atmosphere, no big deal.. more of a technicality lol
