Stolen but found
Friday, January 23, 2009 3:57 PM
So someone stole my cavalier late Monday night/Tuesday morning. The car was found within hours in a ditch. No body damage really. Busted drivers side window, and the steering column was torn apart. During their adventures they managed to rip the exhaust off and trash two of the rims. Nothing was stolen out of the car or off the car. Engine and transmission seem to be fine.

So...I am in need of two 95-99 Z24 rims...I'll worry about the exhaust later.

Thanks.

I'm pretty sure you cant hotwire a third genI know for a fact that the newer ones have theftlock which the pcm requires a square wave signal from the ignition swtich in order to commence starting the car, if it dont see it then it goes into theft lock, and you cant just "fool" it by adding 12v to the wire either, thats why when people get remote starters they have to get the bypass module.
