I'll be in Schaumburg next week for work then spending the weekend in 'downtown' Chicago. I'm wondering if you guys have any advice on @!#$ to do and/or avoid while I'm there. I intend to play with my new camera (Canon Rebel XSi), so if you have any recommendations for photogenic opportunities, please do share.
Thanks.
anything downtown and by the lake is quite photogenic, i have a canon digital rebel xti myself so ive done some shots downtown that came out great especially if you have a tripod and are there at night. enjoy your stay.
go to Michigan Avenue and walk down the Chicago river, right there you can take a Chicago river and lake Michigan tour, its a pretty cool. Millennium Park is another good spot. Lincoln park zoo is a free zoo in the the middle of downtown (if you can find parking). Lots of eye candy along lake shore drive beaches to
If your older than 21 and like to gamble the new horseshoe casino just opened up. It is a sick casino. Its probably one of the top 3 in the states right now.

I wish I could be there this weekend. My Uncle is actually the Maintenance Master Chief for the Blue Angels. I'd be partying with those guys if I could!
Thanks for the tips guys. I'll be staying about a mile from Millennium park, just on the other side of the river, so I'll definitely be hitting that up.
