I also have a stock white z front bumper in kinda poor shape no cracks if some one was to repaint it it would look mint.

trunk is not 100% finished yet iam in the final stage of finishing. iam really looking to get a c/f hood off the trunk. or at least $400
Wait, is that an extra 0? Or did you actually mean four-hundred for a stock shaved trunk?
I hope thats an extra 0 casue 400 is a joke
Well i talked to a few body shops in town and my 3 uncles which all have there own body shops they said for something like that in primer they charge about $500-$550 the lowest they i got was $450-$550.
I guess that's too high but to get a new trunk from the junkers is another $120 then you throw all the material needed to shave the trunk and the time it takes. so whats a reasonable price i said best offer so you guys tell me.
I guess i just don't know what shaved trunks go for.
Typical prices I've seen on here (locally for Chicagoland anyway) for shaved trunks are like $50-100, with $100 being perfectly wave-free & ready to paint. I suppose the spoiler does add a few extra dollars, esp being an 03-05 spoiler, but not that much. I believe Darkstars above was asking like $75 or something for his spoiler-less fully shaved & primed trunk, but I could be wrong on that price.
actually it was more seeing as it was all metal, and the spoiler on the above said trunk is the 00-02 ls sport spoiler. but i would say for it in perfect shape no waves what so ever in primer you might get 200 at the most thats if its mint.
^ Actually I believe you're partially right. It's 02, but only 02. I have an 00 Cav, I can't remember now if it's just LS or LS Sport but it's got the 95-99 Z24 spoiler (non-LED). I forgot that the 03-05 spoiler does not dip down like the one above.
the spolier is an 00-02 z24 spoiler and an 02 ls sport spoiler.
paul... more pics of the molded lipped bumper.. i may just be interested. depends on how well you did it and such. basically.. would u put that bumper on MY car? do you believe the quality is there for my nit-picking personality? lol
also, whats up with selling the green bumper? what u going to use on your car then?

There is no way they would shave a trunk for $50-$100 $50 is like one hour of work and it takes at least 5-7 solid hours to shave a trunk perfect. That mean if it took the minimum of 5 hour it would still cost $250 and that's with out materials.
materials are about another $50 alone so unless the do it for the cost of materials there's no way.
I'm not saying what it costs to shave a lid, I was saying what they usually go for re-sale. IE Ryan's (Darkstars) post...

If people wanted to pay the full cost of shaving, they'd just pay for it themselves instead of buying one already done.
