Has anyone gone, or are planning on going? I was thinking about going, but wanted to see your opinions on how it was. Thanks

I just got back. Probably the weakest show in the last 5 years. Over half the show is corporately invited "VIP" cars. Not very many homegrown tuners this year. Lots of race cars though.

That Cuda was GORGEOUS.

Did you happen to see the Pearl Blue M3 near the back? I spent 20 minutes talking to the 16 year old owner of the car. He had a ton of nice German bodypanels and aero parts, hell even the rubber was from Holland. Kid did everything himself, including painting the car. He even showed me the registration with his name on it. I really hated him for that. LOL.

your talking about the one with the GTR panels (the wide body kit from the M3 GTR racecar)? That thing was badass

did anyone see the 1 cavi in the show? @!#$ hideous. It was a stock engine 2200 automatice sedan with a bomex kit, wheels, lowered, spray painted light yellow stock brakes that were peeling, horribly painted interior, HUGE wing, 4 exhaust tips, it had the color changing paint that looked @!#$ brown most of the time, and the worst part of a ll, a 3 dimensional dragon molded into the hood so it looked like it was poping out...... by 3 dimensioanl I don't mean a painting, literally there were pieces of dragon that stuck out a couple inches from the hood

i agree with the show being weak the past few yrs, now iam going back when i was in the show in 1993 to 1995, and my brothers car in 1991to1992 thats when the show was the best!!! there was no politics in car shows then, ya didn`t have to get on your knees and blow someone to get a good spot or a stupid trophy
i do miss showing my cars allot, but i don`t miss all the stupid questions oh my @!#$in god at times i wanted to cut my own throart to make it stop, sorry to ramble on but agreed the car shows of today are weak

can i haz bondo

I was in the show up until last week. Then they decided my car was "too stock" because of the sleeper look going. I bet I got bumped for that ugly ass Cav.

Well I was in the Chicago one last year and loved it. Got so much business and publicity from it.

I'll try for the WI and Chicago ones in 2008, if I'm still running this car.
