Hey what suggestions do you guys have for a lowering set up for the Cavalier I am buying from Jay, 96 Cavalier Z24 and I think that I will not add a body kit but will add some 17's later on but I live near a base and they have a couple hilaciuoslittle speed bumps so yeah It can't be too drastic and I won't to air bags, but yeah let me know what you guys/gals think!!

UNDER CONSTRUCTION TILL FURTHER NOTICE

You wont have to worry about speedbumps, my car sits like 2inches off the ground and I make it over speed bumps with no problem, granted I go 2 mph and sideways.

I roll on RK Sport Prostreets.

i have the RK Sport Prostreets as well. if i were you id look into some koni yellows and something along the lines of ground control springs or something along that line. DO NOT GO CHEAP. thats the biggest mistake. its going to cost a lot and it will be well worth it.

ok if your going to get koni yellows and ground controls you might as well save up a couple more hundred for the tein ss coilovers. if you want to cheap out get tein stech springs they ride decent on stock struts. avoid things like goldlines and anything with a large drop unless you get struts

If you're looking for a mild drop I'd just go with the tried and true Eibach Prokit coupled with Tokico HP shocks and struts. The tokicos are a nice alternative to the more expensive adjustible dampers and are warrentied for use with lowering springs up to 1.5 inches. This comb is very nice for a daily driver and will last.

OK has anyone gotten the springs from Wheels Next that they offer for free when you order rims? I need to know cause I am ordering a set of rims for my fiancee's SI and I am going to need to drop it since I am going with some 15in rims, let me know if they slam the car or if it's a mild drop I don't want her to look ridiculous driving around in a 4X4 looking SI

I doubt it lists a brand name for those springs so they are probably the same as the 20$ ebay ones, Even if you buy good springs the Si is going to ride like the rest of the civic crowds because you'll blow the struts.
