Hey everyone... I know not a lot of you know me too well... some do, some don't. I am participating in this fundraiser through my school (Bradley University) called Relay for Life. It is to raise money to
fight cancer. This hits home for me
hard. My mom is a survivor, but it even hits closer than that. I would appreciate any donation at all (even $1)
I was diagnosed with cancer fall of 05. It was hopefully a short battle - I was clear during my last check up and I go in for another at the end of May. It would mean so much to me, personally, if you could please help in this cause. Here is the website where you can donate: https://www.kintera.org/faf/donorReg/donorPledge.asp?ievent=136738&lis=1&kntae136738=D97500B07C6C4A588A71753D6FFA99DE&supId=121110601
Thank you so much for reading this!!
I am already a contributor, And on a team... for this, my buddy chris is in remission.
That is AWESOME! Where are you on a team?
It's weird that I read this today (4-8) because our relay for life here at Mizzou is tonight! I'm on a team and I will keep you in mind tonight as I walk. We had a student here die last semester of a rare brain cancer and he was a friend and coworker of a few of my friends. We're having his parents do the opening ceremony and we're trying to get enough luminaria (for him only) to go around the inside of the track (~1/2 mile) to suprise his parents with. Congrats on your last negative screen and I hope your next one is too!
