Just throwing a line out to anybody in the Central Midwest. I am in Central Illinois and we got some pretty bad weather Sunday night. They think it was a tornado but are not positive yet. Just posting and saying that I made it through and was wondering if anyone else out there was experiencing the same thing. Most of the storms were coming from the west and heading east. I know Chicago and Indianapolis got hit hard too.

Hey Aaron, I didnt get hit too hard but it was raining and pretty windy.
I am glad your ok. See ya the 25th bro!
Yea..some crazy ass weather been going on here in the midwest for a couple days now.. nothing to crazy here in omaha except we had pee to marble sized hail coming down for over 35 minutes
The Only thing Gayer than my cavalier is the purple shade of its nitrous bottle
Springfield got hit hard, all of their 911 system was down for 2 hours and they are still on generator power. No hard lined power yet.
There is another warm front pushing through from the south... won't be here til the weekend, but it could get ugly again. Like Brandon side, here in omaha we had some rain, pee size hail, and some strong winds, followed by some snow.
I love this season though, thunderstorms make work exciting. Ecspecialy when we have tornadoes, that burns through a good 2 hours every time.
I'm in Columbia MO and the Mizzou reshalls were evacuated 3X on Sunday night. People can be such @!#$s when you're just trying to do you job! My hometown is Nixa (5 min South of Springfield) and the neighborhood 1 mile north of mine got flattened. We were incredibly lucky. Here at Mizzou it hailed (softball size, yes I saw it with my own eyes) and rained like hell. Luckily my cavi wasn't on the top floor of the parking garage, so no damage.
Hey Vincent! I'm going home for Spring Break on the 24th, maybe we could meet up and talk cars! (Not a date, I'm engaged)
It did get pretty crazy the other night. There was a funnel cloud around Worth, but it never touched down. It was raining and hailing ridiculously hard too. Woke me up, lol. Luckily my car didn't get messed up or anything, I would've went nuts, lol. I was actually storm chasing earlier that night into Will County and what not but nothing big was going on. The big amount of storms didn't hit until late at night.
Here are some pics from a local radio station. The National Weather Service confirmed that 2 F2 tornadoes touched down here. Luckily on my side of town, nothing was damaged. Both my cavy and cobalt were safe. Hope everyone stays safe through the spring / summer storm season.
