I am selling my bike and was wondering if ne one on the forum would be interested in it?
Its a 96 Kawasaki ZX-6 with under 4300 miles on the original motor on it with clean title.
it has a yoshimara exhaust on it and is in great running condition.
I am looking for 3500 obo so if you know ne one that wants a bike or if ur interested plz help me sell it.
if ne one needs pics i will get them up next week as soon as i get a chance.

And A&E, I never asked your opinions, so how 'bout ya just shut the @!#$ up?! Who's to say who will buy it or how fast it'll sell. I'm not planning on even *officially* putting it up for sale for another two or three months anyway!! By then I'll have a lil more paid off on it, so I'll be able to be a little more flexible on how much I take for it. The few mods I'm working on could always be sold separately so that I'm not taking as much of a loss. Just like how a lot of people on this site part out their J's b/c you get more money that way.

Right now it's 7500 firm, later on when I go to sell it, I'll be asking 7500 obo - big difference.
And the cardboard isn't staying in there, if you've ever made anything from fiberglass, you would know that you need some type of mold or support to start making it. And I could care less about a @!#$in' yellow Cavalier coupe, there seems to be something about them that makes their owners egotistical jackasses.

Road rash don't look so good. I definetly have seen worse tho, at least that bike is easily fixable.

I think the tank is supposed to look like that judging by other shots.
Is there any damage to the front fairings since it appears it has been dropped?
Did you do many tricks on this bike?

No i have not done ne tricks the guy i bought it off of ran start it and dumped it.
The fairiings are scratched but not in bad condition and the gas tank is supposed to be like that so u can wrap ur knees around it to hold on all crotch rockets have the gas tank like that.
IF you know how to use the fiberglass filler and can paint you can fix the fairings for
about 100 dollars i just dont have the time and need to get it sold to pay some bills.
There is not much difference b/t the R and ZX they have the same exact parts in them
except i belive the ZX is a tad bit longer and I think the R has a 2 piece seat instead of
one solid seat.

I also just got it a brand new battery so you will also be getting a new battery. It was 55 dollars brand new.
Also I just took the bike out of storage and have been starting it and there is nothing mechanically wrong with it. Also I have always used 93 plus gas in it.

eh, it is a nice bike, but my friend picked his up for $1400 last january. now, granted it had 14,000 miles and is 3 years older (the 93 and 96 are 99% the same, save for a few differences in the fairing design), but it has a blue/green/purple chromalusion paint job, jet kit and a Yoshi exhaust, and new tires. personally, i would look for $2600-2800 for your bike

Just needs a new left side fairing, new stator cover, I'd say remove the stupid reflectors, new clip-on end piece & clutch lever, new mirror, and a new front cowl piece.
This would be great for newbs tho, since it's already got rash but is still ridable
