What I found is a 1996 sunfire 2200 auto that a buddy of mine owns,he is lookinf to get rid of it CHEAP.The problem with the car is the trans is shot and has been hit in the front not a bad hit it could probly but hammered out also the dash and door panels have been removed for a dash swap in a cavy.Idont have picks right now im waiting for him to back into town so i can get some so they should be up within the next few days. Now when i mean CHEAP its cheap more along the junkyard price. If anyone is iterested in the post here or you can email me at nicholasnunley@sbcglobal.net and if your in the Joliet area and want to take a look at it i can meet up with and take you out there to do so.

If I had space & money for it, I'd take it. Find someone to buy my Cavalier, and maybe I'll take the Fire

Since there's probably nobody that will pay what I'm looking to get ($4K), I'm just gonna keep it around and do my custom work on it. It'll be all show & almost no go.

^ That's the problem. I don't like the project I have, thus why I haven't had enough enthusiasm to finish anything. Only reason I bought this Cavalier instead of the 2001 or 02 Z24 manual coupe that was next to it was price. Mine was $6K before taxes & ext warr (about $7K with those). The Z24 was like $11-12K and red paint. Pretty obvious why I chose this crapper If I had enough time back than to actually search around for a coupe Fire, I would have. Problem was that my old truck blew the trans so I was car-less, and in school, so I needed a replacement ASAP.

Hopefully I'll make some actual progress this summer. I'm no longer working two jobs, so it will be a lot easier to get stuff done.
