not usually in this forum but i will be in naperville from the 7th to the 11th for a conference for work. just wondering if there is anything going on in this area at the time or if some of you normally meet up somewhere during the week? looking for something to do here, unfortunately i have to drive a van in instead of the cav but oh well what can you do.
if anyone is super ambitious and wanted to set something up at the holiday inn in naperville to show an out of towner or 2 some of your rides over here that would be cool too, j/k.
seriously though if there is something going on let me know, i really don't want to just go to the bar every day, would like to do something other than drink while here. also what are some things/places to see/do in the area?

Chicago indoor racing is a good time, Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg is always busy and packed with hot chicks on weekends
I dought theres much car stuff going on cause its almost winter by that time but some of the Orland Park guys will be probobally be out, they usally go out and meet up at Steak and Shake on the weekends

The meet on Saturday... well, it got outta hand for me. I actually believed all that
about "Drink beer, you won't be so cold" - and I normally don't get cold easily

Sorry I didn't get a chance to hang out w/ yall. I was tryin' to get work done on my car since it was still nice (well,Tue it was).
^^^ dont worry, we were pretty much busy because of work. One night, derek didnt get out till 9pm. Tuesday we didnt get out till aprox 7pm, and wednesday we didnt get out till 7ish. There is always another time, it was just a thought none of the less.

Actually, it was my dash that was getting work done at the time. Only got one layer of F/G done tho
Yesterday was worse, I got my upper mount done, but then I could only get one bolt for the lower mount out - frame bolt came out, engine bolt isn't budging even after like 5 heavy sprays of WD40. Gonna wait a day or two (stupid rain!) then jack the front end up again and all that to try again. If not, I'll have to buy a new bolt and hack/grind the old one off- it's rounded anyway b/c I don't have a 13mm socket, had to use 5/8 (worked for all the other bolts fine), than tried a locking pliers, crescent wrench, but neither of those worked either. Used the Dremel to grind two flat faces on the bolt again and tried the locking pliers, broke 'em (stupid Taiwan garbage).
