heres the directions mapquest gave me from chicago.

you can either take I90 up to madison (like mapquest suggests) or take I94 to milwaukee hit I894 to go around milwaukee and then get back on I94 straight to madison. then once you get to madison you'll have to hit I90 south and then get off on hwy 18. then the directions are the same. i don't know which way is faster. i'm guessing I90 is though.

the directions that were posted needed a slight revision to get to the actual park. here it is (follow the yellow)...



Once you get onto DRAKE ST instead of taking a left onto S RANDALL AVE take a left two blocks earlier onto S ORCHARD ST. then take that like 3-4 blocks and take a right onto VILAS PARK DR. Its the parking lot on the left right after the beach.

just wanted to give a THANK YOU to Darkstars and Ken96Z for coming up to the meet. It was awesome that you made it. You both have great cars. It was also nice to meet both of you. Sorry about you having to drive around town for like 30 mins trying to find the park though. I hope to make it down to a Chicago meet some time this summer. Kinda to return the favor to you guys.
