I would have an ecotec 2.2 and tranny. Id still need the axles and computer but still for only $1500. I need another job and quit school.

1500 for tranny and motor is a RIP off. I can get a ecotec that was in a 04 with 3k miles with tranny, computer, axles, and mounts for 1100 you should drive up to WI sometime
Or i can buy this motor off my friend that has ZERO miles and was for the cobalts and left over. Plus a nice hefty warranty for no extra charge. He said if anything were to go wrong with it he would trade me for the other one he has in his garage. And if he doesnt have the motor he would uy t back from me the same price i payed, up to 60K miles. So actually its not a rip off like most think. I see it as a sweet deal. I mean it has absolutely ZERO miles on it. The only time someone started it was in the factory to make sure the thing ran.

Im saving up for the project now. Im at about $900 now and he is going still tryo to sell them if other people buy them which i said is fine since a body kit would look nice too. So depends on if i get the money in time. Im sure i will. And now i know what all i need i think. motor moubnts, ECU, axles, custom downpipe and that should do it.
