i have a 96 ld9 looking for 16 psi of boost ..
can i still use my stock map sensor or i need something special ?
i have seen some gm maps that reads 1 bar and 3 bars, should i buy one of those ?

Mine is a 3 pin, i have it right now @8 psi well tunned with safc2 ... no issues so far but now i want to puch it to 16psi.. thats why im asking if i would have to change the map for a 2 bar map sensor from a corvette or something like that
i saw one with part 12615136 on ebay but dont know if it is necessary or not thats why im asking ..

Because of how your tuning your car you likely wont get the answer your looking for on here.
I will never recommend a SAFC to tune our cars.
