Is it worth it to upgrade the oil pump to harden gears on an 04 Eco? Also doing a balance shaft delete how bad are the vibrations? Is it worth deleting them versus vibrations? I will be driving the car every day and I don't want it to feel like a solid mounted cammed small block.

If you are not going to run high rpms or use a launch control of the car, there is no need for the GMPP oil pump gears.
What is considered high rpms?

I have the balance shaft delete on my Eco.
It will take some time to get used to the vibrations. I daily drove my car and over time did not notice it. But other ppl did. Lol
And as far as the added throttle response it was well worth doing this mod.
But if I were you maybe try to find a car with them installed to give it a try first.
And hardend oil gears I don't think you will need. I run up to 7100rpm and 3 years later all is still good.

Agreed 110%
GM says anything above 7,500 RPMs. It was on GM Tuner Source years ago. Sadly that site is long gone now.
