Yet another exhaust thread

So here is my deal. On a LN2 I have a: pacesetter header, full 2.25" piping, 2.25" freeflow cat, generic resonator, and a 3A fart can. I've also got about every cheap bolt-on I can think of (CAI, pulley, ignition stuff, T/B, etc). I'm currently in the process of porting a spare cylinder head and manifold and am planning on getting another coated header to go on with it because mine is rusted up pretty bad. Is there another 4-2-1 header that people would recommend besides Pacesetter for the LN2? My only issue is that it didn't last long before it was eaten away.
Also - I don't necessarily mind the way my fart can looks but it can be a tad raspy at the race track and I was wondering what muffler to get with performance and sound in mind. I would assume with a cat on the car it should retain the necessary back pressure for performance so a straight through should be what I need, correct? I've tried looking on youtube and reading some of the many muffler threads here, it looks like people like the Dynomax SuperTurbo mufflers and the magnaflow street oval mufflers for sound but what about performance? I was thinking about a better fart can with a silencer. I read an article in Modified magazine about dynoing an Evo 9 with a stock exhaust, cat-back-fart can exhaust, and the same with a silencer and it actually made the most power with the silencer installed for whatever reason. Something about the factory ECU being setup for a certain amount of back pressure that was retained by the smaller exit created by the silencer.
Any ideas, links, or info would be greatly appreciated. My car is slow but I'd like to do it right while squeezing any power possible. Thanks in advance.

When I had my 01 LN2 I ran a flowmaster Delta series 60. It sounded great and not raspy compaired to other mufflers on four cylinders. I might get another for the 04 in the near future or try the super turbo as most seem to like it. Flowmaster webpage with vid clips

After an hour of youtube I found a clip of a Delta 60, one of an Eco and one on a 2.2. Sounds better than a can design and they generally rate at 86db. I also found a clip of a 2.4L with a skunk2 N1 muffler that sounds amazing. I bet skunk2 has some knowledge when it comes to eliminating that raspy killer-bees sound since they deal a lot with Hondas, plus they are based on "JDM racing tech" and I have faith in Japanese engineering. Most of the videos I have found of hondas actually sound really deep and throaty. Those go for $100+ on ebay though. I HATE the sound of all Magnaflows and Dynomax. They all sound really raspy. The 40 series is really raspy too... Borla is overpriced and Pacesetter just sounds like junk.
So basically for a GOOD muffler from a horsepower and sound perspective it looks like either a Delta 60 series or maybe Skunk2. The 60 is more restrictive, however since I have bigger pipes and head ports the chambered muffler shouldn't really effect my back pressure in a negative way...

man i have the n1 muffler and it is LOUD no resonator its hardly raspy but even with the silencer it is still too loud and inside with the windows up, even worse. if you dont mind it being loud then ild say the n1 with the longest resonator to quiet it down a bit

Modding my j since I found the org
