M62 or m90.....as far as I know the 3800 in a pontiac gtp had the m90......

Chances are is a series 1 or 2 so it wont really bolt up. Would need to make a manifold.

it was probably off of a 3.1L as far as i know they are the only ones that had the m62. the m90 (off of the 3800 L67/32) will not work easily because of its size

Whats up people?

If it came off of a 3800, it's an M90. And no, it won't work out of the box. Would need a lot of custom parts and a manifold to make it work.

+1

Such great information here....

3800 Series 1 S/C = M62
3800 Series 2 S/C = Gen III M90
3800 Series 3 S/C = Gen V M90

3.1's would have had a turbocharger in the early 90's.

Either way, no... it won't bolt up.

Not all M62s are created equal. M62 mearly denotes the cfm IIRC. It has nothing to do with case deign or mounting.

The number is the amount of displacment in ci since it's a positive displacement blower. While it may not have anything to do with case design of mounting, you'll find out that in typical GM style, none of the 3 even though they go on the same engine, are interchangeable in themselves. Let alone to be put on anything else.
