more power for a LD9(also exhaust/muffler question)

Should I use the bright neon green electric charger, or the hyper girly pink?

just kidding.

Seriously though, running N/A right now I'm looking to do something with my muffler.
This is why:

Now don't get me wrong I LOVE the sound of the muffler, I just hate the look of it.

My first choice was to have it moved back and having a dual exits on the muffler.

Also thought about a 3" or smaller "fart can".
What are you guys running(I've heard ebay fart cans+glass packs are good)?

Also looking at a Cobalt SS(supercharged) Muffler, I love the look and I've heard they function/sound good too.

Whats the pro/cons of running a hi-flo cat and going straight pipe(cat delete)?

With both motor and tranny mounts should I still add a flex pipe to my downpipe?
Right now its got a leak from where the previous owner didn't have a flex-pipe, after I get it fixed I don't want it leaking again.

Thank you for your time.

pick a high flow muffler you like and go with it. dynomax super turbo is a good one, for sound and flow.

no cat>high flow cat>stock cat. that's really all there is to it. running any kind of cat is going to be a restriction. don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
now, if your'e trying to stay "street legal", or at least inspections legal, you'll need a high flow cat. but if your'e not worried bout emissions, cut that @!#$ outta there and run straight pipe.

with aftermarket mounts you will want a flex pipe yes.

Will no cat effect anything(no 2nd 02 sensor)?

You will throw a p0420 code for no rear o2 unless you have hpt to delete the code.

I'm running a high flow cat, 30" cherrybomb resonator and thrust super turbo muffler. Sounds good and looks stock as I have just a piece of 2.5" pipe exiting the bumper.

Thats how my 98 2200 was set up, minus the cherrybomb. I enjoyed the sound, and liked the look of the tip I had on it.
I might travel this path again.
