I make a balance shaft delete currently running it in my boosted ecotec. PM me if you are interested and I will quote a pice.
Thanks
That's like a TTR kinda post, nothing informative to add just a sales pitch lol
My DSM has no front shaft and a neutral rear shaft since the rear shaft's 2nd bearing surface adds support that is needed to keep the oil pump from wearing, although the full delete kit uses OEM Mitsu parts anyways so who knows...
I would just delete them and be done. Hope the motor is out of the car or have fun, I know I did haha.
I say delete as well. Why bother going through the expense when you will still end up with unnecessary rotating mass anyways???
Currently #4 in Ecotec Forced Induction horsepower ratings. 505.8 WHP 414WTQ!!!
Currently 3rd quickest Ecotec on the .org - 10.949 @ 131.50 MPH!!!
Cool thanks guys
I plan on gettin the delete here sooner rather than later... but it all depends on if my wife lets me drop another $500 into my car before I let her go on a $500 shopping spree

if you get me a set of old balance shafts I can make you the delete part..then you just have to buy the plugs from clayton
makes it way cheaper.
Only problem with the delete I hear is much more engine vibration. If you have engine mounts, tranny mounts etc I wonder how bad the vibration really is?

Its pretty bad i have turbo tech engine mounts and tranny mounts and the difference is big since i had the neutral shafts first then switched over to the delete. To me it feels the same power wise but never dynoed to see the difference.
Mine have been deleted since last summer with the LZM kit.
Vibs with the cams and all poly engine/trans mounts are pretty substaintial, its much worse now with no interior tho. When I had the interior it wasn't to bad.....worse tho than when I still had balance shafts.
