I HAVE SOME QUESTION .
on my stock injector 27lbs was running 55 psi of fuel presure. Now with my now Ford brown top injectors 36lbs i hame running 47 psi is it ok
on 55psi the car is cranking but wont start can i get a tip on dis... ?
and also i hame going to tune the car dis afthernow put the rev limiter to 7400 to 7500 rpm, unlock the speed limiter not more then 220 KMH or 140MPH, delet the check engine cam sencor
change the advanse and reatard can i also dow some thing more to give it more power i dont now much about tuning ... ?
thank you from a french Canadien
7400 to 7500 rpm with a 2.4 oil pump. Good luck. And kinda didn't understand what you had to say.
its not worth it. buy an LSX car.

haha lmao
To the OP youll need to get a wideband and data log before you do any serious romping. It will lean out above 3500 and byebye engine. Also 7000 is pushing the stock oilpump in my opinion. It will also not run right with those bigger injectors unless you change the injector constant while tuning. It will idle pig rich and wash the cylinder walls.
the oil pump is from turbotech racing, not from gm but i now it is not a 2.3l oil pump set up
i have set the fuel pressure regulator to 40psi on 36lbs injector . shood i get 310cc injectors .... car run very good to me ?
i will put a wideband dis week.
wath number shood the gauge by at 15 + = ritch and 11- = leen
14.7 is the stock cruising air fuel ratio. The higher the number the leaner the engine and the lower the number the richer the engine. You probably want somewhere around 13.0 while floored.
Your injectors are fine but you need to adjust the injector constant in your tuning software. I would leave it at the stock psi or putting in the larger injectors is kinda pointless since your in effect detuning them by lowering the psi
.
you probably running pig rich with the brown top. i have them and before i tune it, it running wayyyyy too rich. had foul plug due to too much fuel, running on 3 cylinder....
at wot, you will want in the 12.8-13 afr. 14.7 while cruising. its the other around, lower the number on your wideband richer you are. so 11 is rich
whre are you located in qc?
I'm in quebec city
i hame in Laval city
idol, the wideband read 14.8 to 15.4 1000 rpm
cruzing the wideband 14.4 to 14.8 2500 rpm
when i hame floring it the widebang read 10 for a 1/4 of a second and it is going to 11.8 all the way to 7400 rpm
all dis on 40 psi fuel presure with the ford brown to 36lbs
the ecm is tune dy DBI TUNING in St-hubert with HPT
all dis on a 91 octane fuel
i dont now much wath i did to the ecm advance 2 degre maybe
also wat is a normal oil pressure
cold : 1000 rpm
warm : 3000 rpm
warm : 7000 rpm
thank you very much for you good info
here are the new number
i have lower the fuel pressure a bit more 37 psi
idol, the wideband read 14.8 to 15.4 1000 rpm
cruzing the wideband 14.4 to 14.8 2500 rpm
when i hame floring it the widebang read 11 for a 1/4 of a second and it is going to 12.6 all the way to 7400 rpm
look good to my
