I used to have the RK Sport header years ago, it would rub on the subframe. I heard that when RKSport made it they used an 03 cavalier, and that in 03+ the subframe was slightly moved. Does anyone here have a header on their 02 ecotec cavalier with an automatic? I would love to get a header but dont want to deal with it rubbing on the subframe. ( I did have some of the subframe grinded away to help but it still rubbe
I had the same issue. I had an exhaust shop extend it by 6 inches by curving this section away from the frame and then welded a new flex pipe on.

I had the weapon r (rk copy ) and now the pacesetter with my auto. Never had any rubbing issues

Maybe yours was built later in the year for 02 and utilized the 2003 sub frame? I bought my car jan of 2002.
I bought mine beginning of November 01
wow thats odd. I have the upper and lower motor mount so I dont have any engine movement either.
