Im about to install an aftermarket muffler that has no mounting provisions on it. I wanted to get some ideas for a good mounting strategy... could you guys post up how you have your mufflers strapped in? Thanks

my 98 i used a new factory strap and a poly bushing on the mount, my 05 i used all poly mount bushings and welded the stock bracket to the muffler, the strap couldnt handle my flowmaster
I used my rear mount on my 03
HOWEVER
my custom 2.5" is sagging right in front of the fuel tank... has anyone added another peice in there?

Yes i have seen a hhanger added at the first bend in the back works quite well.
what type of hanger?

yea mine is 2.5 heavy as hell so it sagged prety noticable then i added the poly mounts and it fixed my problem. they are called pro 1 poly exhaust mounts. i got mine off ebay. just lube em up real good and get some muscle together for install but they are well worth it.
