I pulled the mount out to replace my timing cover, and noticed that the metal located within the bushing was freely spinning, i also noticed a lot of red flakes all over the mount, appears to be from the bushing...

i didnt know about the rotation thing, since i didnt pay much attention when i originally installed it, but seeing the bushing shred up like that is concerning to say the least
Mine doesn't move. Granted, it is an EcoTec, but the basic design is the same. I say your bushing is bad.
Currently #4 in Ecotec Forced Induction horsepower ratings. 505.8 WHP 414WTQ!!!
Currently 3rd quickest Ecotec on the .org - 10.949 @ 131.50 MPH!!!
Why would it rotate? Nothing rotates to do that! I didnt think these had motors

if the bushing is shot, is there a way to order just the bushing to replace it with? i'd hate to have to ditch a mount that is less than a year old (ordered may of 2010)
