I need some .470 lift cams for my 2.3 where can i get a set made or who has a set for sale ? thanks for any help Mike

well... thats going to be a little tough. engle made .470 lift cams but not many ever existed. i have a set but it was out of sheer luck i got them. best bet is to try and find a set of .430 cams and talk to web or delta cams and see if they can regrind them to .470. or.. and this is prolly the even hardest part, find a set of blanks (damn near impossible but they are out there) and have them straight cut for .470

building a new engine for my ministock .470 is the largest allowed

gotcha... well, i hope you have other engine mods planned because ur gonna need to rev to the moon before those things become usable.

ive not used mine yet but im thinking of a powerband somewhere in the neighborhood of 6500-9000. 10k if she'll hold it....

sholud be turning it around 8k i was turning the stock d engine 6500. i cant port the head i can run the .470 cams 12to1 compression converting to carb and distributor

NICE. id look into some kind of a solid lifter setup.... from what ive read, the hydro's seem to get a little shoddy above 8k.
