Replaced eng/trans, now scrubbing Noise
Sunday, February 06, 2011 8:21 AM
Well as the title states I put a built eng and rebuilt tranny with a stage 2+ clutch into my car. Now when I let the clutch out it makes a scrubbing noise before and as it engages.

This is making it difficult to drive and kinda pissing me off! Im thinking it might be the throw out bearing but Im not sure, just looking for any suggestions or if anyone has had the same problems or might know what it is.

Thanks In advance, Chris

Spec clutch? Ive read stories about that hapening with some spec clutches. I have a 3+ in mine and it does it a little as well.

Do either of you drive ur cars in the winter or relatively cold weather? It seems to only really do it when the cars cold or its cold outside.

I Haven't had it out in warm weather yet...
