msd coil and accel coil

i have a 2002 cavalier 2200
if i get the msd coils do they install the same way the stock ones are
i seen that some put a interface module that goes in between the coils and and the plate on were they sit
doe it really need that module can i remove the stock coil and put the msd coil in it place with out the module.
and what about the accel coil are those any good

the msd coils and accel coils are both drop in replacements. I personally prefer accel but most will say msd. I knew a guy who bought MSD coils for his GTP and they went out about a month later...Bought accel's and they are still running 2 years later. Im not saying msd sells bad products. I just dont care for their coils. Their Ignition systems are top notch.

The interface block that goes between the coils and the ICM is what is used when you put an MSD ignition on your car. If you're just using the coils, it is not needed so you won't have to worry about it.
