I need some pictures of the exaust bends that run over the rear axle. I build a cat back with a thrush glass pack and 2.5 stainless pipe running around the tank with a flange at the end and I'm going to finish building a rear pipwe to span the rest of the way. Just want some ideas I'm doing it all stainless tig.
not on the car, pics from OEMs website.
So basically I need to make a horse shoe shaped piece of exaust with a flange on the end of the horseshoe shape and bold right up ... It was hard fitting a thrush glass pack under there its 28 inches runs right off the cat about 4 inches to the gas tank. Sounds good though
Thanks guys

That second muffler is essentially useless... :/
Paying someone to install parts and bragging about it being fast, is like watching someone bang your wife and being proud to raise their kids.
So are duals on a 4cyl totally aesthetic
Not if you follow the rules of thermodynamics. The T in that pipe would be much better off as a Y, you're creating a ton of turbulence at that T, and reducing velocity on both sides.

is the exhaust shield absolutely necessary? mine is removed currently as it tore. (windchill is -25 right now and I currently have side exhaust) I'm not seein it in mystic's pictures
Well that plastic thing next to the exhaust is the gas tank, so i'd say that it is a very very good idea to have it on there....
its an old concept. time for something new to take the reigns. - Z yaaaa
my entire exhaust is thermochromed... which is a 1300 degree ceramic coating and holds a lot of the heat in... i havent had a heat shield in years...

well "axle back" consists of what, just the muffler?? my old cav i cut the old muffler which i belive was 32 inches long, bought an extension at pep boys along with some clamps and adaptors and put a 3A Racing muffler on it which was 26 inches long i think so extension was needed to bring it to the bumper for people to see
Well I just ran a cat back with a huge thrush glass pack to stainless pipe that bends around the gas tank with a flange at the end and I've got pipe with the curves I hafta mokc up to run a straight pipe over the rear axle great pics guys ill take pics and post them when I'm finished
the one i posted is avail in single version too that just the pic on the site, dont start beating that dead horse.
