ok so just so everyone knows i searched before i posted this!!! So i got a chrome short ram air intake for my 98 chevy cavalier 2.2 off of ebay. So i got the part but the placement doesnt match the pic. It doesnt go anywear near were my old housing was instead its pretty much wear my battery is. When i close my hood (wich since i have it on i havent closed it all the way in fear of breaking it) it pushes down on the filter wich pushes down on my air temp sensor. What do i do do i get more tubing and fully customize it or do i have it on wrong. I am really confident on my mechanical abiltys worked in my dads shop for 6 years. But figured someone else has had this same problem and has a easy fix??
Pictures would help.... I had a '96 Sunfire with the 2.2 that I got a eBay shorty for and had to modify it.... It was a cheapy so a hammer took care of it.... I didn't like it but did the job for a quick fix....
