You mean the saab 2.0 Ecotec turbo? People have been putting the turbo kit from that on 2.2 ecos for years. Other than that, why would you want a saab engine?

b207l is the low output turbo from a saab 9-3t (linear trim) the arc(9-3T) and aero had the b207r which is a Mitsubishi turbo with higher output. Either can be put on the L61 just need the manifold a downpipe fabbed up etc. there is a ton of info on here about it just search saab in the boost forum. As far as an engine swap that would be pretty pointless and expensive. Hybrid L61/LSJ would be easier seeing as the LSJ and the LK9 (from the saab) are very similar from what I have gathered. It may even be possible to do a hybrid swap LK9 block L61 head like you can with the LE5 bottom end or LSJ bottom end, but I don't know I had a 9-3T my mom drives it now can't say anything was ever done to it other than oil changes. I know the LSJ is basically a modified version of the LK9 but what similarities they share I don't know. If you have the money and want the 2.0 bottom end then look at PJ's thread for info on that and get one of the crank trigger wheels from QBE. If I were going to do a hybrid swap it would be the LE5/L61 just due to ease of getting the LE5 block vs getting an LSJ block (and cost) just make sure you get the right year LE5 block that has the forged internals.
