Called Arp to order the main studs and head studs for the 95 2.2 ohv and he had no listing, wondering if someone could supply me with those part numbers!

the search yielded jack so i am bringing this back in hopes of finding a set of ARP
MAIN studs for this engine.
ive got a use for a set if they are even available.
also, does the 2.2/2200 share the same main bolts?

You need three different ones.
You need the ones for inside the head by the valvetrain, 3 for by the spark plugs, and two extended ones to fit the alternator bracket on.

Mine are in my engine, so I can't measure. But I KNOW the part #'s have been posted a couple times...

The ARP part number is 301-5401 and you can get them
here.
my machinist makes stiffening supports for the 2.4 main caps. basically just a chunk of steel bolted above it. problem is you need longer bolts.. he designed it to work with the 2.2 main bolts. i dont want bolts, i want arp studs. so thats why.

Well i just got off the phone with ARP and they told me that the part number ATP5.950-1b isnt a part number at all. ATP5.950-2B is but its a stronger stud and they dont recommend using them with the other part numbers listed for the head studs. So has anyone bought them from them before or what??????
Just went through this doing mains on my ecotec. I was the original poster of this article but my built 2200 is on a engine stand. I remember that when I got my mains they were custom made and they happened to have enough for me from making some for a cavalier a week before so I lucked out. But for the Eco I had to get the longest stud they had in the correct thread and take 2 or 3 threads out of the block to fit them. Arp said that was fine to do since the stock bolts require more thread due to cheaper stock bolt material. I also preloaded them with ball bearings. I have some nice install pics of the Eco mains I did.

Well has anyone had any luck with ordering ATP5.950-1B (190,000 PSI) 71 FT/LBS W/ LUBE 11.00 INTERNAL STUDS from ARP. do i need to call the number 1-805-525-1497 to get them custom made? i was trying to find that arp head measuring sheet online but i could find it. i guess i could just pull my head off and measure what they need to know.
