Your list of mods says you do not need an upgrade at this point in time.

You know that cars have come from the factory with high power ignition systems for quite some time. Only upgrades I can see with boost (which will REQUIRE fuel upgrades) is maybe some colder plugs. Then some tuning (which will also be required) which will probably involve adjusting the timing some for boost.

I'll say this: On my all-stock TBI 5.2L 4WD '88 Ramcharger, I installed a complete MSD system (Box, coil, wires w/HD cap & rotor) with Champioln Truck-plugs (Designed for harsher duties truck engines see) gapped to stock specs (.035"). Result: a 20% increase in fuel-mileage. 'Nuff said!

Go beyond the "bolt-on".

Well I think most know how I feel about my MSD setup and DIS relocation.
Others that have done it have noticed some improvement in idle, start up, and gas mileage increase.
I really don't have a need for the setup because I'm mostly stock internally with no boost but any improvement in spark is an improvement in power and I like the looks of a naked LD9. Sexy.
Good luck with it.
