Hey j-body starting a thread regarding fwd dirt racing and would just like to have various topics relating to fwd dirt track racing...all are welcome to start conversation or topic choice...
Im running 04 cavalier w/ 2.2 ecotec on 3/8 moderate bank and as now we still have issues with gearing and tires, we should have this solved in short time...
I ran a 98 2.2 for the pass 2 yrs and after the upgrade still feel we are under powered which cant be, the car handles good, and have done all basic suspention mods.
i too am building a 02 2 door with a ecotec and a 5 speed. the local guy that is the fastest at my track runs a prelude {newer) so i am going honda hunting.
i run a 99 sunfire with a 2.4 and it was the fastest car on the track even against a 93 i think vtech prelude i won 8 of the 14 races and the 2010 track championship we race a nicely banked 1/2 mile
I can't say i've ever done dirt track racing but now i want to lol.
