pros and cons of motor mounts

ok lookin at gettin some rk motor mounts for the eco. what are some of yours guys opinions on them and what do they help with where do you feel improvements? and where do they maybe get annoying? i have the tsudo header and have ripped the damn flex pipe apart twice and its getting ridiculous

if you do the motor mounts AND trans mounts at the same time, the vibration increase won't be so bad. if all your mounts are the same material (in this case, poly) they all react the same and while you probably will notice a vibe increase, it won't be as bad as if you only did the upper and lower motor mounts but left the trans mounts rubber.

the general concensus is that mounts help to reduce wheel hop, I would tend to agree.. but don't forget to also do the a-arm bushings and sway bar bushings as well. the car will feel a lot tighter and slop in the drivetrain is always a bad thing from a performance perspective.

you may get annoyed at vibes when the a/c is on, but other than that I see no negatives.

if you run across a RSM yellow motor mount, get em.... they accomplish the same, although vibes werent nearly as bad...
