1994 Grand AM with a 2.3 HO recently been rebuilt and now has no oil pressure at the pressure sending unit port on the top end, Oil relief vavle? Bad oil pump? Blocked oil passage?
Need help, reply ASAP please.
check the oil pump... sometimes the fiber gear shreds. especially if the motor blew up and had pieces going through it...
180hp in 1989 or 145hp in 2002, you decide. >

there is a galley plug inside the crank case, you can see it if you take the pan off, its right below the oil filter.....if you had a machine shop clean your block sometimes they leave this plug out after cleaning, without it it just dumps oil back in the pan and you will have 0 top end oil pressure. there WILL be oil in the filter, but 0 at the sending unit...youll have to drop the pan to find out.
