cobalt ss (lsj) injectors are a good upgrade (36#), and a lot of the cobalt guys upgrade them pretty quick when they pulley down so u can get a used set for pretty cheap.

Yes you will need the tune altered, It's a very quick/easy adjustment in HPTuners to change the injector constant for larger injectors.

I'd like to add that cobalt injectors are shorter than one's found on the 03-05 j's...you will either need to swap an 02 eco fuel rail or grind down the blocks on the bottom of the fuel rail and slot the mounting bolt holes.

True.. for my 2002 LN2 I had to oval out the holes on the fuel rail bracket (for mounting bolts) and bend it a lil to accomodate the stubby injectors... in my case it was a very easy modification.. even considering I had to solder in the SS injector clips onto the wiring harnes. But this was for an LN2, not an Eco.

I have had success running 2 of these washers under my injector cups and not touching my fuel rail.

I'm just gonna confirm Tinkles that using the washer DOES WORK. Ive been running them on my 05' Sunfire for about a year with SS injectors.

injector head spacers along with accel injectors worked for me on the 03 rail

That is what im going. Stock 03+ fuel rail, Cobalt SS/SC(LSJ) injectors, 2 washers under each cup, and everything is nice a snug w/o any leaks. I have been running over a year and a half like this.

i took out 1/4 of an inch on my fuel rail of my 04 to run the ss injectors made my check engine light come on but my motor was stock when i did it but besides the grinding of the fuel rail they fit perfect i bought mine off ebay for $40
