So I'm looking at picking up a fairly low mile 02 ecotec ls fairly cheap (700 dollars), got the 16" rims, power everything, lip kit, and a blown motor (possibily timing related). Can I swap an 05 ecotec and ecu directly into this car without switching wiring harness's, or is there more to it.. I can't decide if its a rebuild or a swap to a better more reliable year situation.

Um it is a direct swap same wiring harness and everything im pretty sure, someone correct me if im wrong.

Its just if its gonna get a used motor why not the 05 block right? But if I remember right there's something different in the fuel system between an 02 and latter yearsd
