I done a 086 head swap on my ld9. I read on here about using a 2.3 gasket and some using a 2.4 felpro gasket. I used a 2.4 felpro. I have searched time and time again and can not find where I found the how to on using a 2.4 gasket for the swap. Any help?
What exactly do you need to know? With the 2.4L head gasket, all you have to do is match the water galleys of the gasket to the head (requires drilling and dremelling the head). I've since lost the pictures I took of my head, but they are floating around this forum somewhere.

Just like Brian said match the 2.4 gasket to the head, that's all I did. I had pics floating around showing the gasket was big enough for the 086 head since some said it was not.
I think this is the picture WHALESAC was talking about. I think the top circle mark is something you don't want to mess with...
Help me out with this one guys! I can't be sure if I remember correctly.

That's correct. The top hoe is the PCV on the LD9 head. On the Quad4 head, it's a coolant passage. Learn from my mistake, and don't drill the top hole.
