my 03 is acting up this morning, it cranks and starts but it dies right away then i got it to start and worked finr till i turned it of and wont work again but my rpms didnt work at all an my dash said error in it, fuel pump works and there is spark any oe has any idea what it could be????? Thanks

You have an error light on your dash?
My 03 did the same thing. It was the fuel pump. I'm not saying that's what it is, but I would check fuel pressure with a gauge.
Also, if your tachometer isnt working, I would suggest that the crank position sensor or the BCM could be going bad, possible a bad connection on you cluster plug-in too. Check all of you fuses too. As a side note, you could have two different problems. The fuel filter would cause starting issues, but it wont cause an error message on your gauge cluster. I would replace the fuel filter and plugs both while I was at it.

My friend had the same problem, ended up being the BCM. Replaced it, did the re-learn and worked just fine.
generally when it says "error" in your odometer, its the BCM... any other issue such as the fuel pump would either throw a DTC or not throw any lights at all
