and its not really what i expected....i have a 2.2 ohv with a header and 2.25 pipping back to the dynomax with no cat or resonator. i know this is probbaly why but i dont want it to quiet its already almost like stock.......think i should add a glass pack? and if so which would be a good one i dont want more back pressure? would this make the tone deeper? it sounds like a 2 stroke dirtbike as of now with loud poping when i downshift.. and NO IM NOT PUTTING A CAT ON SO DONT SAY THAT. woould a cherrybomb work?
nope. without a cat in the mix, you're going to have the loud annoying extremely raspy everybody-knows-your-car-is-ghetto exhaust note.

Magnaflow makes a high flow cat that is virtually as good when it comes to performance as no cat....
You have a 2200 OHV N/A ... what possible reason could you have to try to the performance route??? that motor needs b00st.... or a swap...
Put a highflow cat and a glass pack, it wont get quieter but itll get deeper.

You really should put a damn cat back on. Not only is it illegal, but its just stupid. This is why your car sounds like @!#$ right now. The removed cat is making it loud and it's throwing unnecessary @!#$ into the atmosphere.

Tis true. I have 2 "resonators" and a maggy muffler with no cat and i still have annoying rasp.

so you didnt remove the cat for performance reasons (cause you would have answered my post, and you'd be smart enough to run the magnaflow), and you didnt remove the cat for noise reasons (cause you're here, obviously)... so why did you remove the cat????
people here are respectful... however when you high school rice out your car, the only answers you are going to get is how to do it the right way based of many combined years of experience... if you don't like the right way, well you shouldn't be modding cars, your car is not special... if removing the cat vs the magnaflow = 1 hp difference on our cars, then it will also = 1 hp difference on yours... you don't have the magic J that that mod will increase 50 WHP...

alright then give one of us your car and we'll build it right, and all the honda guys are gonna tell you to take it off so as to get more PoWa ween V-TACH kcks n yo. buy the high flow cat i posted. its cheap, it gets the job done, get the glass pack from auto zone and BAM decent sounding car. its THAT easy and you only had to spend a grand total 80 more dollars.

i have a honda also(getting rid of it) and the forums for honda were never as helpful as all of the guys(and girls) on here are, if you don't like the advice don't take it, but it's free and usually right, heck, it's what helped put my car on the road....
get the hiflow cat that red cavi said, a 25" glass pack from advanced for $20, and now you have a sweet sounding car, that will be just as loud, but a nice deep tone
